Fast expanding UK Law Firm is looking to recruit a new Senior Learning & Development Manager to join their London office, managing the delivery of L&D initiatives to all fee earners, business services and secretarial staff. Responsibilities will include meeting with group heads on a regular basis in order to identify training needs, formulating learning and development plans as necessary, analysing training requests arising from the annual appraisal process, managing the full training cycle for Partners and all staff, designing and delivering business skills and programmes, developing relationships with key external providers, organising workshops on soft skills topics such as time management, setting budgets with practice areas and monitoring these throughout the year, processing all training invoices, chairing the L&D Committee and attending meetings as required, preparing quarterly reports on CPD activity and any other duties as required. You will also be responsible for the development of the L&D team and be expected to work in a way that encourages a team-orientated culture. Candidates should have previous experience of identifying learning needs and a proven track record of designing and delivery training projects effectively. You should also have excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to liaise with personnel across all levels of the firm. Standard hours are 9.30am to 5.30pm, however a flexible attitude is required.
