Legal Team Assistant

Leading City law firm is seeking 3 x Legal Team Assistants to join their London office on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for bright, hardworking, and reliable juniors who are driven to pursue a career as a Legal PA at one of London’s most prestigious firms.

  • Salary to £28,500

In this role, you’ll be providing administrative support to Legal PAs, lawyers, and other business services teams, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to a variety of work to further build on your skillset.

Key Responsibilities of the Legal Team Assistant:

  • Help with organising events or meeting logistics such as booking conference rooms, arranging refreshments, equipment, arranging dial-in details and VC set-up and making restaurant reservations for client lunches or dinners.
  • Assist with travel bookings which may include single/return train/flight tickets, hotel and taxi bookings
  • Assist with quick turnaround document work that cannot be sent to the firm’s Document Production team.
  • Print, photocopy and scan relevant documents as and when required.
  • Assist with the preparation of Court/Counsel bundles, Deeds and fee earner working papers.
  • File relevant documents in electronic or hard copy files.
  • Assist with fee earner expense claims, cheque requisitions, and other banking related admin in a timely manner.
  • Manage the entry of timesheets for partners (where relevant).
  • Assist with the billing administration process.

Skills & Requirements of the Legal Team Assistant:

  • School / College leaver with 5 GCSEs graded 9-4 (A*-C), including Maths & English.
  • CILEX qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships.
