Learning & Development Assistant

A fantastic opportunity for a Learning & Development Assistant to join a leading US law firm.  This role would suit an organised and proactive HR or Learning & Development Administrator looking to develop their career within L&D – working closely with L&D team, you’ll support the delivery and administration of training programmes across a range of practice groups and business services teams.

Learning & Development Assistant Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the administration and delivery of learning and development programmes across the firm.
  • Coordinate training sessions, including scheduling, communications, materials, and attendance tracking.
  • Maintain accurate training records, learning management system data, and reporting trackers.
  • Administer external training bookings and support mentoring, onboarding, and development initiatives.
  • Collect and collate learner feedback, producing reports to support continuous improvement.
  • Provide first-line support for training-related queries from learners and stakeholders.
  • Assist with learning communications, training materials, and promotional activities.
  • Process departmental invoices and maintain accurate training expenditure records.
  • Collaborate with HR, Learning & Development colleagues, and business stakeholders to support learning initiatives.

Learning & Development Assistant Skills & Requirements:

  • Previous experience within a HR, Learning & Development, Training Administration environment, ideally within a law firm.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records and data.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach with a willingness to learn and develop within Learning & Development.
  • Experience using HR systems, Learning Management Systems (LMS), or training databases would be advantageous.
