Our prestigious international law firm client is currently looking for a Senior Marketing/BD Advisor or a Junior Marketing/BD Manager to join them on an initial 6 month basis. The main focus for the role is to work in conjunction with the other Marketing & Business Development Managers for Finance and the Finance practice partners, sector groups and other members of the team across the firm’s offices, to provide marketing and business development support to the Finance Practice Group, and in particular the BRI and IDCM practices. The main duties for this role will include acting as the lead for pitches, the pitch process and promote pitching best practice. This will also involve working with the Global Pitch Team and other Practice and Sector M&BD team members, providing relevant Finance input to other pitches and credentials, work with practice leaders and wider Finance leadership team on the implementation of targeting initiatives and campaigns, working with other industry teams, BD and CRM colleagues as required, undertaking and maintaining post-pitch feedback where appropriate, Act as a ‘Client Account Manager’ on some of the firm’s key clients; including developing client plans and ensuring the core teams deliver on key objectives and priorities, and managing and ensuring client reporting requirements are met, ensuring that client relationship management principles and best practice are adopted, working with other M&BD and client relationship management colleagues as required, conducting “client listening” (post-matter reviews, client service reviews and post-pitch debriefs) for key clients, create and implementing integrated campaigns across the practice, working collaboratively with the firm’s industry sectors to help raise our profile and awareness amongst our key target audience and generate opportunities to meet potential clients, plan and manage the implementation of marketing communications programmes, including targeted seminar programmes, client facing material production, client events, online development etc., encourage full and effective use of the firm’s CRM database (InterAction), work with the central PR team, develop and oversee the implementation of an effective profile raising plan for the practice, including our approach and management of our submissions to Directories, Awards, Industry Publications and Memberships and Sponsorships. Candidates must have prior experience working at either a Senior Marketing/BD Advisor or Junior Marketing/BD Manager level within a law firm environment.
