Accounts Payable Assistant – Part Time

A prestigious British law firm headquartered in London is looking to hire a office based temp to join their Accounts Payable team, to join the w/c 22 August. This role will ideally be part time 3 days a week Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, however we will consider 4 days or full time for the right candidate and skill set. Paying up to £19phr depending on experience.

Duties of this role include:

  • Handles invoice and employee reimbursement processing (including foreign transactions), audit expenses, coding, input and verification.
  • Reviews invoices for accuracy and completeness.
  • Processes (audit/coding) express and manual checks.
  • Reviews and follow-up on vendor statements.
  • Point of contact for staff inquiries.
  • Liaises with internal support departments and the Firm’s global offices, as necessary.
  • Liaises externally with vendors to proactively resolve disputes and payments issues.
  • Checks and processes London conference call invoice.
  • Processes and checks internal catering costs (conference room meals, lunch and evening meal charges) and processes catering company invoice.
  • Processes client billing entries.
  • Maintains European Vendors on Accounting System.
  • Reviews excel charts for various analysis.
  • Reconciles petty cash.

We are open to applicants either from a traditional AP background, ideally with experience Chrome River, OR, a student/strong administrator who has good attention to detail and is happy to process expenses and invoices.
