A top US law firm is looking to hire a new Billing Coordinator to join the firm on a permanent basis, working with a Manager, Senior Coordinator and an Assistant.  This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with two years billing experience, looking to step up into a coordinator role.


This role is office based in central London, with standard hours being 9:30am to 5:30pm and offer a generous benefits package – the salary is to up to £38,000.


Responsibilities will include working with a Senior Coordinator, Manager and Assistant with the monthly billing cycle for a number of centralised key clients. You will also be required to assist the Billing Manager with their duties.  Duties will include maintain a portfolio of WIP in order to ensure timely billing, attend monthly meetings with Partners to discuss billing, submit WIP reports to the Partners & Fee Earners when required, produce Billing Guides, Invoices & Credit Notes, generate reports from SSRS as required by the Partners & Fee Earners, prepare client invoices in accordance with instructions from Partners & Fee Earners, ensure e-billing requirements are met, ensure that invoices comply with agreed client fee arrangements, ensure that invoicing meets all statutory/legislative requirements and follow-up on timesheets to ensure that Partners & Fee Earners keep them up-to-date.  Applicants need to have proven legal billing experience with working knowledge of Aderant needed, in addition to having good knowledge of Excel and working knowledge of other MS packages, be familiar with SRA guidelines and VAT compliance, strong communication skills and organisational skills and be a team player with a flexible attitude.
