Our client is a prestigious London law firm – they are now looking to recruit an experienced Business Analyst to join their expanding team in London.

This role is to assist the business in the production of business cases that quantify potential business benefits. You will work with stakeholders to analyse, review, define, and thoroughly document business requirements, functions and processes.

The standard hours are 9.30am to 5.30pm. The salary on offer is £65,000 to £70,000 + benefits. This role is permanent. You will be working in their office for 2 or 3 days a week (flexibility required).

Your responsibilities as a Business Analyst will include:

• Work with the business to identify/analyse change and define how products and services can best be used
• Work with project stakeholders to ensure that cost-effective, timely & appropriate solutions are implemented, within agreed quality standards
• Establish and maintain relationships with the business, PMO, IT and suppliers
• Support product/service/vendor selection processes
• Support changes to operational processes, procedures and organisational structure, understanding and communicating the impact
• Produce appropriate project documentation, defining scope, impact and benefits of proposed changes
• Analyse & document business processes; identifying alternative solutions and new approaches, where appropriate
• Consistently document business analysis deliverables in line with agreed standards
• Contribute toward the development of Business Analysis and wider PMO best practice
• Define and estimate the business analysis deliverables required on a per project basis, helping to drive consistent quality
• Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing solution proposals

Requirements as a Business Analyst include:

• Previous Business Analyst experience gained from a medium to large law firm
• Experience gained from a law firm – this is essential
• Extensive experience of implementing Legal Practice Management Systems
• CBAP/BCS Business Analysis Diploma or equivalent
• Good general knowledge of the Legal Tech market and trends
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, ideally Microsoft Office Specialist certified
• ITIL foundation, Prince II, UML desirable
