Our fantastic US law firm client is currently looking for a Business Development Assistant to join them on a permanent basis, the main focus for this role is to provide Business Development and Marketing support across all practice areas in the London office (Mergers & Acquisitions/Private Equity, Private Funds, Banking & Finance, Restructuring, Dispute Resolution and Transaction Specialists).

 

The key responsibilities for this role are but not limited to assisting with creating pitches (including drafting key selling messages, compiling relevant experience and tailored biographies), often to short deadlines, Preparation of client research briefing packs, independently as well as working with the Information Centre, and identifying opportunities and areas of strategic fit, assisting with writing and preparing practice award and legal directory submissions, deal tracking and recording to ensure the timely capture of announced deals in London, as well as reporting to league tables (Mergermarket and others), supporting internal communications initiatives, general administrative tasks are a key part of this role, including keeping team infrastructure up-to-date (including maintaining a record of pitches, research packs, new/closed matters etc), assisting with ad hoc project work as required.

 

Candidates must have previous experience working within a Business Development or Marketing function in a legal or professional services environment and also have knowledge of interAction and Vuture systems. The core hours for this role are 9.30am – 5.30pm and this role is paying up to £26,000 + excellent benefits.
