Business Development Executive at top International Law Firm: to £42,000

A prestigious International Law Firm is looking for a new Business Development Executive to join the London office to focus specifically on the International Finance, Financial Services and Dispute Resolutions groups to support, develop and drive forward their Marketing and BD activities.  This role will be working directly with Partners and Associates to develop strong working relationships around the world.  Responsibilities will include supporting the development and implementation of the international marketing & BD plan for the three groups, ensuring that outcomes from initiatives are monitored and reviewed effectively, revenue generation: translating insights and ideas into win profitable new work, using market awareness and product knowledge to identify hot topics and trends which support the group’s business development strategy, facilitating cross-selling opportunities with other appropriate, supporting and managing bids and tenders, working collaboratively with fee earners and the wider team to create winning propositions, developing and managing associated campaigns and targeting initiatives, maximising the leverage from such initiatives, including social media and PR opportunities, leading on event preparation, ensuring that value is derived and recorded, timely engagement in the legal directory and awards submissions process, managing budgets, producing excellent and up-to-date marketing materials and helping develop content for specific projects and attneding all appropriate group meetings.  Candidates must have a minimum of three years marketing/business development experience within a profesisonal services envoirnment, preferrably within an international firm, strong commercial awareness and previous experience in pitching, targeting and campaigning in addition to strong written, communication and Microsoft Office skills.
