Business Development Manager – City Law Firm – Agile Working

This leading commercial City law firm who takes pride in their sustainability and ESG values wish to recruit for an ambitious Business Development Manager to help drive their ongoing business development plans across their firmwide practice groups such as Disputes, Charities,  Competition and Corporate.

 

The position would suit a Senior Business Development Executive looking to take their first steps into management whilst working with a diverse range of clients across their Employment, Immigration, Commercial, Corporate and Real Estate teams. The Business Development Manager will work directly with UK qualified Partners, taking the lead on business development activities to promote the firm’s profile. Located close by to Cannon Street tube station, the firm offer a hybrid working model of 3 days in the office.  Standard hours are 9:30am to 5:30pm offering a salary of up £60,000.

 

Reporting into the Senior Business Development Manager and collaborating with the central marketing team, you will be responsible for:

 

  • Coordinating and producing proposals and pitch materials for clients
  • Play a key part in creating and implementing the team and sector business plans and develop and support cross-sell initiatives
  • Supporting the firm’s client targeting efforts including the key client programme and CRM process
  • Supporting the new client satisfaction survey process
  • Using data and metrics to continuously improve and adjust the output of the team
  • Using your understanding of our core target markets to develop new and innovative products and services
  • Using your understanding of our core target markets to produce targeted campaigns to raise awareness of our products and services
  • Drafting and posting content to the firm’s social media channels
  • Managing the strategic and logistical tasks associated with marketing events

 

The client is seeking a candidate educated to CIM and/or degree level, preferably in marketing, communications or business, with 4 years + proven business development experience, preferably in a law firm or partnership structure. You must have strong verbal and written communication skills and be professional and can multitask and work to tight deadlines. You must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with strong technical skills in Word, Excel and CRM.
