Business Development Manager

One of the expanding US law firms in London is looking to hire a new Business Development & Marketing Manager to work alongside the firm’s Partners to drive the firm’s BD and revenue growth strategy through targeted business development activities, including strategy development and target identification.  Responsibilities will include local client development initiatives and targeting new local clients, support with Foreign Desk initiatives, supporting bids and proposals, developing European ESG credentials and market outreach, in line with our global expertise, helping to develop key messaging, campaigns, thought leadership, social media pieces, events and other profile raising initiatives, supporting attorneys on key directory and awards submissions, including for Chambers and Legal 500, working alongside our CRM team to ensure contact data is up-to-date and relevant in Salesforce and pulling data from our databases for internal presentations, particularly around fees and ROI.

Applicants require a Bachelors degree, five or more years of marketing experience is required within a legal or professional services background in addition to being highly organised with strong creative abilities, have strong verbal and written skills, the ability to manage competing deadlines and work with very busy Partners and the highest levels of firm management, ability to multi-task and prioritise work, savvy technological skills and be a self-starting, motivated individual willing to go the extra mile to get the job done.
