Commercial Litigation Legal PA

 

A leading global law firm with a presence in the world’s major financial and commercial markets is seeking to hire a Legal PA to join their Commercial Litigation team in London.  This role reports into the Head of Secretarial Services and will deliver professional secretarial, organisation and administrative support to an allocation of fee earners including one partner.

Commercial Litigation Legal PA Key Responsibilities:

  • Build an understanding of the nature of the fee earners work, get to know their clients, and build relationships with them and the client PAs
  • Extensive diary management – arranging meetings, conference calls, lunches etc
  • Organise travel (including flights, accommodation, and restaurants) and provide the fee earners with detailed itineraries
  • Accurate and regular maintenance of filing systems, e-filing, and archiving and retrieval of files from storage and opening new matter files
  • Extensive Inbox Management
  • Support client billing process (3E), prepare, and produce bills
  • Keep accurate records of expenses, disbursements, and fees for client billing; liaise with the firm’s billing department

 

Commercial Litigation Legal PA Skills & Requirements:

  • Previous Legal PA experience supporting at Partner level is essential
  • Strong diary management and international travel management experience
  • Extensive billing experience essential (3E desirable)
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
