One of our international Law Firm Clients is currently search fir a Senior Communications Executive to join their London office. The candidate will be joining an active and busy PR & Communications team and will sit inside the Brand, Marketing & Sales (BMS) department. The role will work closely with another Communications executive and will report directly to the PR & Communications Manager. The role will deal with all internal and external communication for UK and Asia offices.

 

The role involves dealing with members of staff of all levels of seniority, including Heads of department and Directors, and requires a candidate who can deal with and interact with these colleagues accordingly. The role will be dealing with internal and external Communications and everything that falls under those umbrellas. The successful candidate will support the wider BMS team by; developing media pitches, building relationships with industry expert journalists including legal and trade publications- an interest in these areas would be beneficial. Other duties will also include preparing media briefings for fee earners ahead of interviews, handling external PR for the firm by preparing press releases. Internally, candidates will be required to draft internal announcements across the firms major communication channels to keep the business informed and up to date on the firms goings on, managing and utilising the in house communications platform Edge, and reviewing and producing the firms outgoing media, including social media, newsletters and blogs.

 

The Firm is looking for a candidate with proven working knowledge of a busy communication team, previous law firm experience is preferred. The client is also looking for someone who is an experienced networker and is able to build strong and lasting relationships. Experience in on and offline communications methods and who can manage and prioritise busy workloads. Someone who can easily assimilate into a hard-working team and environment with good knowledge of the UK media is preferred. This role is a permanent full time position, working hours are 9:30am- 5:30pm and is paying between £40,000-£45,00 based on experience.
