One of the leading and fastest growing US law firms is looking to hire a new Director of Administration to manage the effective and efficient operations of the London office – this firm is proud to be passionate about what they do and equally how they do it! Responsibilities will include developing strategic plans for future practice and operational needs of the office, supporting structures and systems to meet attorney and client expectations, acting as a responsible advocate for office concerns and needs, ensuring the smooth running of office administrative operations with global practices and firmwide standards and providing leadership and direction to the partners and employees of the London office. The successful candidate will also be responsible for handling all non-attorney operational matters including staff recruiting, supervision and retention, and coordinating with partners and management on attorney HR matters, along with any ad hoc duties which may arise. Candidates should be degree educated with a minimum 7 years’ experience as an Office Administrator/Director in a legal or professional services environment. Applicants should also have experience of managing a business to the expectations of management and shareholders, and a record of developing management teams to higher levels of performance. This firm is housed in stunning City offices working standard hours 9:30 – 17:30. The firm is flexible on salary dependent upon experience and expectations.
