Diversity, Inclusion and CSR Manager – Successful UK Law Firm – 50/50 Hybrid Working

Our growing UK law firm client is seeking a Diversity, Inclusion and CSR Manager to join them in their London or Basingstoke office on a permanent basis, there will be an element of travel around other UK offices. The Diversity, Inclusion and CSR Manager will be responsible for the development of D&I strategy in line with the Firm’s and will involve leading, and implementing D&I and CSR policies, initiatives, committees, and meetings. Candidates will work closely with all practices, managers, and partners to ensure that initiatives including professional development, recruitment and selection, networking groups, third parties and business partners, charities and will assist with organising events and will be responsible for writing, producing, and presenting regular communications on our DE&I and CSR programmes to promote understanding and increase partner and employee engagement.

 

Key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to acting as the main point of contact for the clients internal diversity and inclusion networks, communicating with members about meetings and sharing information with them, running with events and awareness campaigns, organising regular meetings with the firm’s D&I groups, working with the wider HR team with diversity benchmark submissions and diversity reporting, managing a programme of internal D&I seminars and events, including researching potential speakers, booking speakers and rooms, internal advertising, co-ordinating attendees to further increase understanding and engagement across the firm. The Diversity, Inclusion and CSR Manager will also produce feedback, and produce regular internal communications including via the intranet and other means to keep everyone updated on current initiatives and events. There will also be the opportunity to take on D&I project work including awareness days and even attending D&I and Wellbeing seminars and events.

 

Candidates should have at least 3 years experience in DE&I and CSR and ideally have experience managing a team or working in a manager capacity, within a professional services or law firm environment. The core hours for this role will be 9:30am – 5:30pm and this role is paying a competitive salary. The firm operate a generous 50/50 hybrid working policy.
