Events Executive – City Law Firm – Agile Working

Leading City based Corporate law firm is looking to hire a new Events Executive to assist in the execution of their new events programs and supporting firmwide marketing initiatives in the London headquarters located close to Liverpool Street station.

 

The Events Executive will help implement firmwide internal, external and virtual events and be accountable for the development and delivery of events through marketing and business development continuing to enhance firm’s five star brand and client following. The role is extremely varied and will suit a hands-on Events Executive individual able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

 

This position is a hybrid working role with a minimum of 3 days in the office.  Standard hours are 9:30am to 5:30pm with a salary of up to £50,000 dependent on experience.

 

The Events Executive duties will include:

 

  • Work with partners and associates on the end-to-end execution of events including seminars, drinks receptions and corporate hospitality on time and within budget
  • Develop invitation lists, coordinate speakers, email invitations and reminders to the guest list and co-ordinate responses, prepare documentation and manage event communications
  • On site venue management on the day, coordinating set up of furniture and equipment, greet guests, co-ordinate with Reception colleagues and external waiting staff
  • Analyse and report on delegate feedback
  • Venue research, draft basic budgets and work with external suppliers as required
  • Maintaining and developing the integrity of the Contact Relationship Management System
  • Become an expert user of CRM system – Vuture
  • Reporting on data for the firm’s events in collaboration with the Marketing & BD team, and communications such as newsletters/e-alerts
  • Helping to guide the firm’s Business Suppoty functions on data entry and data integrity.
  • Supporting the Marketing Manager coordinate the firm’s legal directory submissions and update the office and partner profiles, publish and edit news articles, news, staff profiles and other content on the firm’s websites using content management systems
  • Work collaboratively within the marketing and BD team in the production of marketing collateral required for a range of purposes, including working on pitches if required.

 

Events Executive applicants require:

 

  • Relevant legal industry hands on events experience, minimum 3 years current experience
  • Educated to degree level in Events, Marketing, Business or related field as well further marketing qualifications being a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience using Events, Website and CRM systems such as OnePlace, WordPress and Vuture, InDesign, website analytics, etc
  • Excellent writing and proof-reading skills
