Leading international law firm is looking to hire a new Events Executive to assist in the execution of their new events programs and supporting firmwide marketing initiatives in the London office based in spectacular new offices next to Liverpool Street station. The Events Executive will help implement events (live and virtual) for the local London office, and sometimes in external venues.  This position is a hybrid working role with a minimum of 3 days in the office.  Standard hours are 9:30am to 5:30pm with a salary of up to £40,000 dependent on experience.

 

The Events Executive duties will include:

 

  • Support with managing the firm’s calendar of events from end-to-end, including, but not limited to, taking a brief from lawyers and working with the wider Marketing and Business Development team to provide first class, innovative advice on event design and planning.
  • Supporting the Senior Events Executive to align events in line with the strategy of the firm and supporting the implementation and application of events best practice globally, including training.
  • Support as required in producing the quarterly global events dashboard and analysis report, aiding the implementation of recommendations to improve event effectiveness and alignment with the firm key clients.
  • Develop a number of events in collaboration with key stakeholders. Responsible for in-person (both in-house and at external venues) virtual and hybrid client events, with a primary focus on London, attending events where required.
  • Managing and running webinars, providing training in advance of the event and on the day technical support.
  • Work with key stakeholders to define objectives and thoughtfully design a number of events accordingly, managing the entire lifecycle, including planning meetings, checklists, budgets, expense processing, vendor management, onsite and virtual platform management, data management, and post-event analysis.
  • Ensuring all events are communicated effectively to the business, making certain that opportunities for collaboration are harnessed as much as possible.
  • Working with lawyers, the business development team and the InterAction (CRM) team to ensure that appropriate target lists are developed for each event and lead generation is agreed and tracked post-event.
  • Post-event, measuring success against outlined objectives and providing recommendations for follow-up activity.
  • Assisting the Senior Events Executive in the continuous development of events best practice, including review of feedback to ensure continuous improvement of events and analysing ROI, including reporting on outcomes.

 

Events Executive applicants require:

 

  • Relevant hands on events experience, preferably in a legal or professional services organisation.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience using InterAction CRM systems would be beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Happy to work independently but also with a willingness to work collaboratively as a member of a team with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Ability to follow directions, multi-task, and work quickly within a framework where priorities often shift and/or conflict.
  • High level of attention to detail and meticulous follow-through.
