A prestigious international city-based law firm close to Fleet Street is looking to hire a Finance Analyst to support the firm’s commercial reporting evolution. The position has become live due to increased workloads and the restructure of their finance division. The firm will consider Finance Analyst candidates looking for a salary of 45-65k DOE. The hours are 9.30am to 5.30pm and the firm operate on an agile working basis of 3 days in the office, 2 remote.

 

Reporting into the Business Finance Manager you will assist with providing commercial, financial and analytical support across the firm, providing financial analysis to influence key decision makes and enhance profitability. The Finance Analyst will be involved in;

  • Supporting business services, accounts and pricing teams by analysing the financial performance of the practice groups through routine reporting and ad-hoc requests.
  • Deliver financial support to the Business Development team by reviewing requests for data, providing relevant reporting and simple analysis of results.
  • Pricing support to the accounting and pricing teams.
  • Support the Senior Accountant on wider projects and initiatives to enhance financial performance and improve profitability.
  • Provide support for the budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Supporting the Finance Systems Manager with developing reporting capability in Power BI.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Finance Assistant or current Finance Analyst currently working in a law firm or Big Four Accountancy firm who is studying towards a recognised accounting qualification. A knowledge of report writing using Power BI, SQL as well as srong Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential.
