French Speaking Finance Supervisor

A prestigious US Law Firm is looking for a bilingual French/English speaking candidate to join the London office on an initial 6 Month FTC to implement and oversee the client administrative process including engagement management, client intake, billing, collections and reporting whilst managing a small team to support define Practice Groups.  Responsibilities will include serving as primary point of contact for all Partner inquiries, ensuring that all requests are addressed timely, and escalating potential issues when appropriate, ensuring Partners that client relationships will be managed appropriately by demonstrating gravitas, responsiveness, and a strong work ethic, being a subject matter expert for Aderant, ensuring that all billing and collection policies and procedures are executed by the team, identifying  opportunities to streamline the billing and collection process, with the goal of reducing partner time spent on administrative processes, while at the same time keeping them informed as to the status of their clients.  Other duties include liaising with Billing Committee members as it relates to the approval of write-downs, discounts and exceptions to the billing policy, administering the collections process ensuring that delinquent accounts are resolved in a timely manner and escalated appropriately to Firm’s management and providing timely information on billing, collections, write-offs and discounts to the Client Operations Officer. Candidates must be completely fluent in both French and English, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience within a legal accounting role.  Candidates educated at degree level are preferred with candidates needing to have strong organisation, technical and written skills.  A salary of up to £70,000 pro rata is on offer, plus fantastic benefits.
