An elite US law firm is seeking to hire a new Private Funds Paralegal to join their prestigious Private Funds team on a permanent basis.

 

Salary to £55,000

Hybrid working (one day working remotely)

The role will be based within the Private Funds team and will be working very closely with the Partners and Lawyers on specific deals.  This role will be offering high-level work from day one, so candidates need to have strong education, excellent Corporate / Funds experience and a teamworking mentality.

 

This is an excellent Private Funds Paralegal opportunity to join a globally renowned law firm.

Private Funds Paralegal Duties:

 

  • Managing inbound emails and directing matters to the appropriate internal teams to ensure client priorities are met in a timely manner.
  • Assisting with entity set-up and liaising with overseas counsel.
  • Drafting ancillary documents, such as minutes, resolutions, side letters, service provider agreements and management / advisory agreements.
  • Assisting with investor transfers.
  • Updating internal trackers and other client support documents.
  • Assisting with billing arrangements.
  • Assisting with Compliance and subscription agreements for fundraisings and processing amendments to key fund documents as required.
  • Co-ordinating fund marketing registrations and other filings.
  • Uploading and maintaining key fund documents and project management documents.
  • Supporting the post-matter review process including the updating of project plans, working bibles, archiving know-how and facilitating learning for future similar matters.
  • Synthesising know how from live matters into readily accessible internal resources.
  • Undertaking research for the knowledge team.
  • Drafting of client alerts.

Skills / Requirements:

  • Strong academics
  • Previous Private Funds Paralegal experience from a top law firm.
  • Meticulous approach to work
