US law firm is looking to hire a new International Arbitration Paralegal to join their award-winning Practice. This role is requiring a bilingual paralegal, in both German and English. This role’s responsibilities will include being asked to translate, proofread, cite-check and edit German- and English-language documents, administrative tasks associated with the preparation of legal submissions and exhibit bundles, administrative support to legal teams at arbitral and court hearings, file arbitration and court documents, maintain hard-copy and electronic case files as well as procedural correspondence, preparation of document indices, reprographic tasks including photocopying and scanning, document review, coordinate projects with external vendors and any other reasonable duty in line with the level of the role as required. Applicants need to be fluent native-level or near-native-level business German-language skills and previous experience, prior experience working in an international arbitration or litigation practice is desirable as is prior experience using document review platforms, MS Office, electronic file management systems, and electronic resource tools, e.g., Kluwer, Westlaw and LexisNexis. Applicants need to be a team player who is supportive of, and can work closely with, colleagues across multiple offices and is willing to work on projects other than those formally assigned to them. Standard hours are 9:30 – 17:30.
