One of the world’s leading law firms is looking to hire a new Global Learning & Development Senior Manager, with a focus on a coaching and soft-skill approach, to take ownership of the London and European offices Business Services staff training and coaching requirements to ensure the firm’s staff is the best they possibly can be and to work with passion to build knowledge skills and abilities of all your colleagues through innovative methods.  In this role you will report in to the Global Director who is based in the States and your line reports, who will assist and support you are also based in the States – this is a creative, and innovative role where you will be tasked of developing a high number of talented individuals, when post the pandemic you will travel to the European offices (same-day/short trips not long trips) to provide your learning and development expertise.  Responsibilities will include developing and preparing training materials that include leader’s guide, participant workbooks, and visual aids such as PowerPoint presentations, assisting in identifying training needs, and providing training solutions for the Firm, measuring transfer of learning and training impact by creating and implementing multi-level evaluations, facilitating HR related classroom courses to a diverse population, contributing to the identification and creation process of new learning opportunities outside the classroom, such as using multi-media devises, e-learning, etc. and working closely with the Director and global team to ensure all training passion and requirements are being captured by all.  Applicants need to have extensive L&D experience, ideally at Manager level, from within a law firm plus be an expert in facilitating professional training programs, strong experience of demonstrating the ability to create high level training courses that incorporate experiential learning activities to meet the needs and culture of the audience and display strong knowledge of and proven proficiency in adult learning.  Previous coaching experience would be a strong advantage however it is essential to have experience and/or knowledge of Learning Management Systems, as well as experience designing and facilitating virtual learning with outstanding project management skills demonstrated across multiple locations, cultures, and matrixed organizations.
