A prestigious US Law Firm is looking to hire a new Graduate Recruitment Assistant on a permanent basis, working closely with the Graduate Recruitment Manager to provide support for the London Trainee Recruitment and Development scheme.  A salary of up to £35,000 is on offer plus fantastic benefits plus agile working.

 

The responsibilities for the Graduate Recruitment Assistant will include arranging attendance at the travel to university law fairs and presentations and attend when necessary and arranging  venue, attendees for and travel to the various recruitment receptions, organising interviews (Spring and Summer vacation scheme and training contract interviews); book rooms and coordinate interviewers, ensuring interview feedback is received and attached to application, building relationships with future and current trainees; maintain contact with future trainees as they progress through university and law school, administering payment of law school fees and maintenance grant for future trainees and vacation and billing of time for trainees, organising  and help to deliver the trainee induction programme, organising  Professional Skills Course (PSC) core module course and book PSC elective courses whilst transitioning to the SQE and assisting with booking the trainees on the external Litigation Training Programme whilst transitioning to the SQE.  Other duties include assisting with seat rotation programme for trainee solicitors including overseas seats (to include liaising with colleagues in regard to temporary accommodation, visa requirements and other related paperwork) and assisting with the organisation of visas, work permits and process expenses/reimbursements and helping with the preparation and organisation of the UK Spring and Summer vacation schemes including room and secretarial allocation, induction, training and social events.

 

Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months administration experience, preferably within HR / Graduate Recruitment, or a passion of moving into Graduate Recruitment. Additionally you will need strong communication, written and organizational experience and excellent education.  A salary of up to £35,000 is on offer plus fantastic benefits.
