Our client is a leading US law firm – they are now looking to hire an experienced Graduate Recruitment Specialist on a permanent basis to support the busy Professional Resource team.

The Graduate Recruitment Specialist will assist with coordinating the London office’s legal recruiting efforts for Associates, Paralegals and Trainees, serving as the main point of contact for recruitment agencies and candidates.

 

This is a full-time, permanent position. The standard hours are 9.30am to 5.30pm. The salary on offer is up to £55,000 + overtime and generous benefits. The firm operates under a hybrid working policy with 3 days a week in the office.

Responsibilities of a Graduate Recruitment Specialist:

  • Supporting the Senior Manager of Legal Recruitment and Professional Development with lateral partner recruiting
  • Providing support to the Senior Manager of Legal Recruitment and Professional Development during the bi-annual performance management review processes for the Lawyer population
  • Tracking the life cycle of candidates for reporting purposes
  • Serving as first point of contact for current and future trainee solicitors
  • Assisting the Senior Manager of Legal Recruitment and Professional Development with all stages of the trainee life cycle; induction, seat moves, mid and end of seat reviews and qualification process
  • Administer associate mentoring programmes including tracking mentor relationships and related expenses

 

Skills as a Graduate Recruitment Specialist:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a professional services environment
  • Legal recruitment experience, preferably at a large US or International law firm
  • Knowledge of the UK legal market
