Hugely successful US law firm corporate US Law Firm has an exciting and newly created opportunity for an experienced Head of Business Development & Marketing Manager to lead on business development and marketing plans for the London & European regions. The firm are prepared to offer a highly lucrative salary for the desired applicant, excellent benefits including 41 days holiday a year, as well as hybrid working structure (3 days in offices close to Liverpool Street and Fenchurch Street and 2 from home) on a full-time 9.30-5.30 basis.

 

The Head of Business Development will report directly into the global Business Development Director and manage a large BD & Marketing team in London and Europe.  You will play a pivotal role in leading the firm’s continued development overseeing all elements of business development, marketing, strategising with senior BD management, sector heads and partners, developing and implementing campaigns. You will possess strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to recruit, motivate, retain, and develop an effective team with a culture of accountability

 

As Head of Business Development for London and Europe, you will work collaboratively with other leaders across the department and the firm to execute cross-disciplinary business development and marketing initiatives aimed at: growing productive relationships with current and prospective clients; elevating the firm’s reputation and profile; exploring/securing strategic sponsorships and client programs; spearheading integrated marketing campaigns; leading cross-selling initiatives and targeted business development pursuits; and developing/delivering training and coaching programs for lawyers and staff.

 

The client requires the services of a legal industry specialist Senior Business Development Manager with a minimum of 5 years’ in a hands on management role or a current Head of BD with a successful track record in leading a busy business development and marketing team, currently working for a global law firm. You will possess strong academics, marketing qualifications as well as be results driven, proactive, enthusiastic, imaginative and a strong influencer. Additionally, you will be an exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, with a high degree of intellectual curiosity coupled with a passion for creative solutions to traditional challenges.
