A fantastic new opportunity has arisen at one of our top global law firm clients who are keen to hire a new Head of Commercial Finance.
Located in the hear of the City, the firm are offering a highly competitive salary of up to 125k plus a generous benefits package. They are currently operating a hybrid working system where you will be working in their office for 3 days, 2 remotely, with the standard hours being 9.30am to 5.30pm. It is however expected that the successful individual will be present as much as possible, particularly whilst settling into the firm.
The firm are keen to hire a commercially minded senior level qualified pricing and finance manager to lead the firm’s plans of providing a first class service competitive and dynamic pricing service for their existing and long term client targets.
Reporting into the Finance Director, the Head of Commercial Finance will be responsible for driving towards profitable growth by leading and growing the firm’s commercial team, to ensure strategic alignment of priorities and delivery of first-class support to the Partnership.
The main aim of the position is to integrate Finance Business Partnering across their global practice groups and leading on key initiatives relating to pricing and credit strategy, designing and delivering training and support to partners / lawyers regionally on proposals, client pricing and rates and negotiations, alternative fee arrangement managements, supporting on process improvement regarding pricing and matter management, sharing best practice learning to tackle any challenges encountered from clients.
The Head of Commercial Finance will directly oversee a Commercial Finance Manager and will work closely with the Revenue and Finance Systems teams in London and internationally on identifying and acting on growth opportunities as well as develop individual growth plans and pipeline management with Partners and Business Heads across the firm.
Candidates must come from a commercial finance background within a law firm including strong pricing expertise. A recognised accounting qualification and / or MBA is preferred.
