A prestigious US law firm is looking to hire a new Helpdesk Support Analyst to join the London office on a permanent basis, working closely with the Senior IT Manager to support the IT requirements of lawyers and business services staff.  The hours for this role are 08.00am – 4.00pm, plus a salary of up to £50,000 is on offer plus exceptional benefits including a free on-site gym!

 

Responsibilities for the Helpdesk Support Analyst will include:

 

  • Helpdesk support including resolving IT problems in a professional and efficient manner
  • Finding workarounds to problems that cannot be resolved immediately, solving all types of PC problems. Should be prepared to visit users as well as using remote control tools to resolve issues
  • Hardware support duties such as configuring new PCs, setting up users and laptops, configuring and issuing pool laptops and mobile phones, keeping inventory of all hardware
  • Creating, updating and resolving incidents in ticketing system
  • Review and potentially advise on the set up of AV meetings
  • Deliver clear troubleshooting steps in relation to Microsoft Office 2016
  • Troubleshoot problems with legal Word and Excel documents
  • Answer ‘how to’ questions on all software used within the Firm
  • Support of travelling lawyers over the telephone
  • Supporting mobile (iOS) users
  • Assisting with office moves
  • At times home visits to resolve IT issues may also be required

 

The successful Helpdesk Support Analyst must have previous 1st / 2nd line IT experience within a professional services organisation, in addition to excellent Microsoft Office experience, excellent written, communication and organisation experience.  Standard hours are 8am – 4pm plus a salary of up to £50,000 is on offer with exceptional benefits.
