HR Administrator – London Based Law Firm

London based law firm is looking to hire a new HR Administrator/Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis, to provide effective and efficient support to the busy and expanding HR function.  This role is a perfect opportunity for someone with at least 6 months’+ HR Administration/Assistant experience who is looking to grow and develop their legal HR career.

 

This will be a be generalist HR position and the successful candidate will be involved in assisting with a range of different tasks within the HR space. Duties for the HR Assistant/Administrator will include but are not limited to

  • HR Operations: super user for systems and reporting as required; supports Payroll & Benefits Co-ordinator with benefits administration; keeps data for benefits up to date including medicals, flu vouchers, eye test vouchers; prepares data for policy renewals and invoices;.
  • HR admin: prepare monthly pension letters; supports HRD/HRM with annual and mid-year review process; produces HR data including headcount, BCP lists, bi-annual HR metrics (turnover, retention statistics).
  • Diversity & Inclusion: Supports HRD with new initiatives and brings new ideas to the team; plays active role in D&I projects, sources and books events, manages reporting and prepares Diversity data.
  • Training: works with the HRD & HRM to manage the firm’s Professional Development Programme; sources and books training; ensures accurate training records are kept and invoices paid; manages data and reporting. Attends Training Partner meetings to co-ordinate central training, budgets and invoices.
  • Trainee Recruitment: works with Talent Officer to assist with annual graduate recruitment process including assessment centres, vacation weeks, tracking applications through our processes. Manage the main Application mailbox and responds to first line recruitment queries via our main website.

Applicants will require excellent accuracy and attention to detail, strong technical skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Office, have strong administration and organisation skills able to remain calm under pressure and prior experience as a HR Administrator or HR Assistant. Standard hours are 9:30am to 5:30pm with salary being flexible dependent upon experience to £26,000.
