HR Administrator- US Law Firm

A prestigious US law firm is looking to hire a new Administrative Assistant to join a growing HR team on a permanent basis to provide administrative support to the HR & Recruiting Team.  This is a perfect role for someone with previous administrative experience within a law firm, looking to move into HR, or an existing HR Administrator.  Standard hours are 9.30am – 5.30pm and a salary of up to £30,000 is on offer.

 

Responsibilities will include the collation of information packs including new hire and benefit packs for Lawyers and Support Staff, setting up interviews, calendar invites, conference room bookings, prepare rejection letters, update applicants spreadsheet for all support staff recruiting, new joiner administration, setting up induction schedules and collecting new hire paperwork for Lawyers and Support Staff, preparing quarterly and annual vacation reports, maintaining absence records including logging all employee vacation on Peoplesoft, departure administration, manage the departure checklists, and archiving terminated files for Lawyers and Support Staff, updating Address changes with the US, Benefits and Payroll for Lawyers and Support Staff, maintaining the Administrative Managers’ Vacation Chart and logging vacation in the Administrative Director’s calendar.  Other duties include making travel arrangements and arranging accommodation/temporary housing, assisting with the preparation and organisation of the US Summer Program including room and secretarial allocation, induction, and social events In addition, responsibilities related to maintaining firm and client information are to be adhered to by all employees.

 

Candidates need to have previous administrative experience within a law firm, or professional services environment, with an interest in HR, strong academics and excellent communication, organisational and written skills.  Standard hours are 9.30am – 5.30pm and a salary of up to £30,000 is on offer.
