HR Advisor – Top US Law Firm – Hybrid Working

A prestigious US law firm is looking to hire a new HR Advisor on a permanent basis, to work within a fantastic team of 5 who are responsible for the recruitment, retention and development of all employees in London, including employee relations matters. A salary of up to £47,000 is on offer, plus excellent benefits and agile working, 3 days in the office, 2 from home.


Responsibilities for the HR Advisor include:


-Acting as a key business partner to the London office, providing HR generalist support to the Facilities/Front of House, Pro Bono and Research Services teams within Business Services departments;

-With the support of the Senior HR Managers manage employee relations issues within the assigned departments when they arise, including disciplinary, absence and performance management;

-Supporting the Senior HR Managers with employee secondments.

-Providing operational HR support to the Senior HR Managers for all other departments of the London Office;

-Managing the annual salary and bonus review process for the Business and Secretarial Services departments in the London office, with support from the wider generalist HR team;

-Managing the annual Business Services and Secretarial Services appraisal process, with support from the wider generalist HR team;

-Managing the London Office client secondment processes in conjunction with the Senior HR Managers;

-Conducting new joiner and exit interviews, with follow up as required;

-Management of all family leave processes for Business Services and Secretarial departments;

-Assisting Lateral Recruitment Manager, and Hiring Managers with recruitment for Business and Secretarial Services hires, where appropriate,


The successful HR Advisor must have previous HR experience within a law firm, the ability to work on employee relations issues, strong written, communication and collaboration experience.  Standard hours are 9.30am – 5.30pm, a salary of up to £47,000 is on offer plus the team work 3 days a week in the office, 2 from home.  Exceptional benefits are on offer.
