A prestigious US law firm is looking to hire a new HR Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis, to provide effective and efficient support to the busy and expanding HR function.  This role is a perfect opportunity for someone with 12 months’+ HR Administration/Assistant experience who is looking to grow and develop their legal HR career working within a fantastic HR team.


Duties will include being asked to assist with maintaining up-to-date and accurate personnel records, assist with the set-up and maintenance of electronic and paper HR files, assist with the recruitment and graduate recruitment processes, assist with the on-boarding processes for all London new starters, assist with the off-boarding processes for all London leavers, support the D&I team and London Employee Resource Groups, assist with client secondment processes, assist with benefits administration (health club membership, season ticket loans, PMI, life assurance etc.), manage and action key dates (i.e. contract expiry dates, probationary completion and visa expiry dates), take ownership of Work Experience students, ensure change in data is processed in all HR systems, prepare HR documentation e.g. probation letters, offer paperwork, referencing, salary review letters, manage Paralegal On Call Rota, manage London HR Inbox for all enquiries and undertake such other duties, temporarily or on a continuing basis, as may be required.


Applicants will require excellent accuracy and attention to detail, strong technical skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Office, have strong administration and organisation skills able to remain calm under pressure.  Standard hours are 9:30am to 5:30pm with candidate working three days in the office and two days at home and a salary being flexible dependent upon experience to £34,000.
