HR Senior Assistant

A prestigious US law firm is looking to hire a new HR Senior Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis, to provide effective and efficient support for their HR function in London, across the full employee life cycle.  This role is a perfect opportunity for someone with 1-3 years HR Assistant experience who is looking to grow and develop their legal HR career working within a fantastic, motivational and supportive environment.


Duties will include being asked to assist with maintaining up-to-date and accurate personnel records, assist with the set-up and maintenance of electronic and paper HR files, assist with the recruitment and graduate recruitment processes, assist with the on-boarding processes for all London new starters, assist with the off-boarding processes for all London leavers, assist with benefits administration (health club membership, season ticket loans, PMI, life assurance etc.), manage and action key dates (i.e. contract expiry dates, probationary completion and visa expiry dates), ensure change in data is processed in all HR systems, prepare HR documentation e.g. probation letters, offer paperwork, referencing, salary review letters, manage London HR Inbox for all enquiries and undertake such other duties, temporarily or on a continuing basis, as may be required.


Applicants will require excellent accuracy and attention to detail, strong technical skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Office, have strong administration and organisation skills able to remain calm under pressure.  Standard hours are either 9-5:30pm or 9:30-6pm with candidate working two or three days in the office and a salary being flexible dependent upon experience (£30-40k).
