A top US law firm is looking to hire a new HR Advisor on a permanent basis to act as the first point of contact for all advisory HR related matters to support attorneys, paralegals and professional staff within their growing London office. Responsibilities will include coordinating and providing support to the team regarding all HR queries, providing advice and support on a range of HR issues including terms and conditions of employment, family friendly policies, appraisal process, long term sick issues and other absences, managing holiday entitlement, flexible working requests and assisting with return to work plans, advising on and managing employee relations issues as required, including conduct and capability issues, grievance, dismissals and redundancy, monitoring absence levels from absence reports and notifying the relevant managers of any issues, monitoring recruitment and new joiner administration, ensuring on boarding checks and processes are completed in line with the firm’s standard policies and procedures and any other ad hoc duties when required. Candidates must be degree educated, with a minimum of 2+ years’ experience within HR and have strong ER knowledge and hands-on experience. Applicants must also have strong written, communication and attention to details skills. Standard hours are 9:30am to 5:30pm with this firm housed in stunning offices a stone’s throw from Liverpool Street/Fenchurch Street/Cannon Street.
