Our prestigious UK law firm client are currently looking for an IT Administrator to join their IT team and report directly to the Service Desk Manager and the Head. The prime focus of this role is to provide administrative support to the IT Department and assist with its communications with the wider firm, this role will allow candidates to have numerous work avenues to progress into within a fantastic environment. The main responsibilities are checking and processing expense claims, organising internal and external meetings, booking conference rooms, preparing agendas and minutes (as appropriate), file management, ensuring filing is up to date and correct and that information is easily accessible, including e-filing, assisting with updating of policy documents (e.g.: IT Section of the Office Manual, Information Security policies, controlling versions published via Intranet), maintaining and administering the IT purchase ordering and invoice management processes, ensuring that all items ordered have an order number and are correctly logged and can be matched to PO’s, delivery notes and subsequent invoices, process all IT-related invoices, ensuring that they are appropriately coded to the correct nominal accounts, approved, scanned and passed on to Accounts Payable for settlement, and dealing with any related queries, maintaining the IT Asset Inventory database. Produce reports as required, Managing the effective creation/closure of all user accounts as part of the starters/leavers process, providing backup 1st line support call handling for the service desk team during periods of unplanned absences / high demand etc, undertaking other ad hoc duties and projects as delegated by the Service Desk Manager. Candidates should have prior experience within Administration/IT Administration within a professional services environment, the core hours for this role will be 9.30am – 5.30pm.
