IT Operations Analyst at fantastic UK law firm, up to £45,000

Our excellent UK law firm client is currently looking for an IT Operations Analyst to join their IT team and Work closely with the wider IT Operations Team, you will serve as the main point of escalation to the IT Service Desk Team.  The key responsibilities for this role are incident and problem management. You will own and manage through to resolution a majority of problems escalated from the service desk, conduct reviews of end user technologies such as desktop PCs, laptops, smartphones and tablet specifications as and when required for new stock, assist on various IT projects as required (over time it is anticipated you will take on the main technical lead role on certain projects), assist the IT Systems Engineer to support the firms meeting room AV/Video Conferencing systems; acting as the main point of escalation internally for any support issues raised by the service desk – escalating externally to the firm’s supplier/maintainer where required, carry out Data Subject Access Request searches as requested from time to time, provide supplemental 1st line support to the firm’s users as required (during periods of exceptional high demand or absences within the front-line service desk team), provide emergency or planned ‘out of hours’ support as required (the firm maintains an outsourced support service to provide this cover, so this relates to exceptional circumstances only), build Windows servers following IT Build Check sheets as approved by the Head of IT Operations, provide supplemental 2nd/3rd line support for IT Security systems, as required. Candidates must have similar experience within a Professional services environment, law firm experience is extremely desirable.
