IT Specialist – US Law Firm – Office Based

A prestigious US law firm is looking to hire a new IT Specialist to join the London office on a permanent basis to provide first and second line support to the London and European Offices.  The role will be based in the London office 5 days a week and a salary of up to £38,000 is on offer plus fantastic benefits.

 

Responsibilities for the IT Specialist include managing workflow by inputting accurate problem description and resolution data in incident management system for all calls received, monitoring emails and voicemails received from end users and resolves problems or takes action as requested, running scheduled system tests and performs requested change control testing, monitoring network and system alerts and respond appropriately based on established standard operating procedures (SOPs), producing shift status reports and turnover logs, applying standard software configurations to PC’s, maintaining inventory control including software upgrades, and annual hardware upgrades and replacements, participating in IS department projects and evaluating and testing new software.

 

Within this role, some travel to the European Offices may be required.  Candidates need to have a minimum of 12 months first line support within a professional services organisation, preferably within a law firm – in addition to excellent written, communication and organisation skills.  A salary of up to £38,000 is on offer plus great benefits.
