A well-established International Law Firm is currently looking to recruit a new Learning and Development Advisor into their growing HR team. The role will slot into the HR department and work within the Learning and Development team. The exiting team consists of the Director of L&D, L&D Manager, and an L&D Assistant. The team provide training and learning and development practices globally to support members of the firm on regional and international learning requirements. The role will focus on improving business skills and helping develop careers for existing workers across the business services and lawyer functions and helps provide and develop technical and legal skills to help train Lawyers of all levels.

The role will see the successful candidate be tasked with designing a range of training programmes to meet the needs of the business, along with maintaining, improving, and updating current core programmes making sure they are still relevant. Candidates will also, deliver core programme courses for the firm and host online webinars and other training events should the need be required. Any events and training sessions must be monitored, and feedback provided to ensure participants are getting the most from sessions, candidates will also be required to undertake this process for the firms LMS and ensure L&D objectives are being met. Another part of the role will be to work closely with the Graduate Recruitment team to aid with the SQE training cycle and assist the HR team with new starter inductions. Candidates will also provide support to Associates and business services staff and assist the L&D Manager with any ad hoc tasks.

The firm are looking for a candidate with at least 3 years’ experience in a professional services firm and have proven experience in a hands-on L&D role. Experience with event management and an understanding of SRA regulations around L&D would also be desirable. Standard working hours are 9:30am- 5:30pm with a flexible attitude should the need arise. Salary for this role is up to £50,000.
