Our Leading law firm client is seeking a Legal Cashier to join their Finance department in their growing Liverpool office, the primary focus of this role is to deal with the disbursement invoices of the firm and also perform a shared disbursement management role. The main responsibilities of this role are reviewing/editing and the authorisation of disbursement invoices, appropriate reporting on disbursement invoices for data reconciliations, updating to the PMS System of new vendors, reconciling counsel fee notes, managing the Disbursement Inbox and dealing with any queries, daily posting of direct debits/standing orders made from the firm’s office accounts, daily reconciliation of the firm’s office bank reconciliations including foreign currency, weekly reporting on Counsel VAT reconciliation and following up with Counsel for fee notes for VAT reclaim, entering/releasing all Office payments on the firms online banking systems, dealing with the non-invoice ad hoc payment requests ensuring they comply with firm policy and authorisation. Candidates must have in-depth knowledge of SAR rules and previous experience working in a cashiering role within a legal or professional services environment. This role will be working remotely for the time being, with core hours being 9.30am – 5.30pm and this role is paying up to £29,000 + excellent benefits.
