Our client is a leading US law firm – they are now seeking to hire an experienced Legal Editor / Writer to join their exceptional team based in their London office on a permanent basis.

 

The Legal Editor / Writer role would be suited to a creative, talented writer with a background working in a law firm (or legal services, professional services or a Chambers background) with some journalistic experience.

 

This is a full-time, permanent position and offers hybrid working with 3 days in the office. There is a generous salary on offer.

Responsibilities as a Legal Editor / Writer:

  • Write a wide range of marketing collateral, including lawyer biographies, social media posts, website content, annual reports, blog posts, interview transcripts and speeches
  • Write a wide range of internal pieces, including newsletters and firm announcements
  • Proofread materials to ensure accuracy, correctness and adherence to the firm’s style
  • Manage the delivery of projects. In this work, generate content, write, edit and liaise with the CreativeQualifications and Experience as a Legal Editor / Writer :
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in journalism or a professional writing environment, preferably within professional services.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, including grammar, spelling and vocabulary
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
