Growing US law firm is looking to hire a new Legal Research/Library Specialist on a permanent basis where you will be a member of the Global Research Services Team assisting various European and Asian offices.  The responsibilities will include executing the workflow and processes associated with electronic subscription management, including password provisioning, troubleshooting subscription access issues with users and vendors, ongoing subscription adjustments, license monitoring per licensing terms, usage statistics gathering, invoicing, assist with annual renewals of electronic subscriptions, execute the workflow and processes associated with management of the print library collection including serials management, loose-leaf filing, book updating, routing, desk-book management, invoicing, vendor management and physical library organization, provide legal, business and business development research as assigned, conduct new hire orientation for legal and professional staff as assigned, develop, prepare and conduct training to promote effective research, proactively monitor trends in library/information science and the legal industry and incorporate them accordingly and appropriately, prioritise continuous learning by seeking professional development opportunities and assume additional responsibilities as required.  Applicants need a minimum of 5+ years relevant experience in a law firm (professional/corporate environment experience may well be considered), library/research degree or professional qualifications will be preferred, working experience of a wide range of information sources including Lexis UK, MergerMarket, Debtwire etc., be an excellent communicator (verbal and written), strong attention to detail, being a team-player and have an enthusiastic and passionate approach to their work.  This role will be a mix of remote working/office working however government guidelines will be followed.  Standard hours 9:30am to 5:30pm.
