One of our prestigious US Law Firm clients is seeking a new Legal Talent Assistant to join the team in their London office. The aim of this role will be to provide support to the Legal Talent function.  This will involve assisting the Trainee Recruitment & Legal Talent Manager and Legal Talent Recruitment Advisor by providing excellent levels of administrative support.

 

Candidates will be required to provide support to the following areas: lateral recruitment, trainee recruitment and to assist with a range of other tasks when needed more general duties such as event organisation, booking meetings, scanning and document/ file management, mail and email management and compiling starter packs and attending educational and performance enhancing events. Recruitment related duties will involve liaising with Pas to schedule interviews, maintaining accurate data into the LawCruit database, be first line of support for recruitment queries for agencies, trainees, and fee earners. Candidates will also be required to draft offer letter, carry out references and make sure all leaver and joiner procedures are adhered to. Candidates must also aid trainee recruitment programmes by helping with logistics for open days and summer programmes, assist in the organisation and administration of online application system and liaise with candidates to keep them informed throughout the application process.

 

Candidates will ideally be educated to degree level and have prior recruitment experience. Candidates will need good working experience of providing administrative support to a high level and be computer literate in all standard MS office programmes and virtual meeting platforms and be prepared to travel should the need present itself around events and fairs. High attention to detail, and strong proofreading and data entry skills will be integral to this role. Standard working hours are 9:30am- 5:30pm with a flexible attitude around the needs of the firm. The salary for this role is up to £33,000.
