City based law firm is looking to hire a Legal Assistant to support fee earners within their Litigation department on a permanent basis. Duties will include extensive diary management, reminding lawyers of meetings on a daily basis, arranging travel bookings, booking conference rooms for meetings, supporting fee earners in marketing activities, taking internal and external telephone queries and acting as appropriate, monitoring emails and ensuring that all client related correspondence is handled correctly, checking documents and presentations produced by the Administrative Assistants within the team, typing urgent correspondence and emails, producing and maintaining Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations, assisting lawyers in ensuring their time is recorded correctly, assisting with the billing and credit control processes and any other duties when required. The suitable candidate will be technologically capable with advanced skills using Microsoft Office and a good knowledge of professional systems. The Client is wanting a team player with good communication skills, who is able to liaise effectively with people at all levels across the firm, and has a keen eye for detail. Standard hours are 9:30am to 5:30pm with offices a short walk from Liverpool Street and Cannon Street.
