Office Manager – Prestigious London Law Firm!!

Our client is a prestigious law firm – they are now looking to recruit an Office Manager to join their office based in Central London.

The Office Manager will provide a central support service to the London office and will be a pivotal part of their operation.

You will ideally have office administration experience gained from a professional services firm or a law firm environment. This is a fabulous opportunity for someone with strong administrative experience that would like to utilise their skills in an Office Manager position.

This is a full time, 3-month FTC position, hours for this role are standard 9am-6pm Monday to Thursday and 9am-5pm on Fridays. This position will be fully office based 5 days a week. The role will be paying up to £40,000 FTE plus benefits!

Responsibilities as an Office Manager:

• Office supplies and equipment
• Stationery, post, courier deliveries, meeting room bookings
• Ensure the office is kept tidy and Health and Safety levels are met
• To provide support to all fee earners
• Update Website
• Managing outsourced services including new suppliers, comparing prices and creating proposals
• Booking flights and accommodation
• File Opening incl. engagement letter circulation
• Recording and addressing annual leave requests / sickness / time keeping
• Responsible for Phones / Devices / Laptops
• Reception cover when applicable
• Arranging meetings between Partners / Fee Earners and Clients / Contacts
• Arranging Partner meetings and arranging monthly training meetings
• Assist all team members with IT related queries / issues
• Liaising with recruiters to arrange interviews
• Manage the administration of the recruitment process
• Draft employment contracts for new starters
• Liaise with new starters re new starter forms

Requirements as an Office Manager:

• Previous Admin Assistant / Office administration experience
• Ideally experience gained from a professional services environment
• Experience of working within a legal environment would be beneficial
• Highly skilled on all MS Office applications
• Ability to be flexible to meet the demands of the work
• Energetic, enthusiastic and driven
• Self-sufficient and diligent – can make and deliver on your own work plans
