Operational Practice Support Assistant

A top UK Law Firm is looking to hire a new Sector Support assistant to assist in deploying the strategy of the firms Retail and Tech pillars, focusing predominately on operations. Responsibilities will include extensive project management – meeting planning with the retail and tech secretaries, minuting actions from meetings, tracking stakeholder progress against objectives, reporting back and escalating as necessary, running existing processes as well as implementing new processes (e.g. research, client development (internal aspect), capturing lawyer retail and technology skill sets for CVs), the delivery of operational and administrative actions to ensure tasks are completed to established deadlines (e.g. reporting, internal comms, ad hoc tasks), working cross-divisionally with Streams and Teams on delivery aspects, collating monthly reports incorporating stream and team specific content, as well as weekly report on external retail market and maintaining and updating key information on documentation in systems including the document management system and Intranet.  This role will be reporting into the Strategy Implementation Manager and the Head of Commercial Practice Management.   Candidates need to ideally have at least 2 years’ experience within a law firm, professionals services organisation or within the retail/tech sector within an operational/project role.  Candidates must be proactive, adaptable, with strong communication, written and Microsoft Excel skills.  Standard hours are 9.30am – 5.30pm and a salary of up to £35,000 is on offer.
