People Operations Lead – Successful International Law Firm – Generous Hybrid Working

Our successful International Law Firm Client has just instructed us on a fantastic new People Operations Lead role. Working alongside the wider People department, this role will see the People Operations Lead acting in a very well trusted capacity for the whole firm, dealing with a range of areas from HR Policy, systems & processes, Benefits & Wellbeing, Surveys & Reporting and more. The People Operations Lead will develop and maintain meaningful working relationships with other very Senior decision makers in the staff and aim to work cohesively with them. This role will be replacing a long-standing member of the firm. Salary for this role is £85,000 – £100,000 experience dependent and the firm offer a generous hybrid working policy of 2 days in the office the rest from home.


The People Operations lead will be tasked with a arrange of extremely important roles that will contribute to the overall smooth running of the firm. Candidates will be dealing with HR policies and templates, ensuring our people policies are up to date, relevant & accessible candidates will work with Asia colleagues to determine which policies are local and which are global. Candidates will also deal with systems, processes and reporting and will work closely with the Systems Manager and Systems Analyst to ensure that our people systems fit for purpose and working efficiently to collect and collate accurate and effective data and reports. The People Operations Lead will also be tasked with payroll, benefits and wellbeing and ensure that all processes surrounding these areas are in place and improve these where possible. The People Operations Lead will oversee the firm’s partner and staff benefit programmes and act as the main point of contact business wide for any queries related to this. Other tasks that fall to the People Operations Manager include: Budgeting, Firm wide engagement surveys, Reward and Recognition, Health & Wellbeing, Communications and People team projects.


Candidates need strong experience working as a HR Professional in professional services or Law Firm environment. They must also possess strong knowledge of processes and reporting systems and be able to analyse and use information given from data.  Proven leadership skills are also essential to this role.
