PR Executive – UK Law Firm – Chancery Lane – Agile Working

This prestigious international law firm based in stunning offices in the heart of the legal district near Chancery Lane and City Thameslink stations are keen to hire a promising PR Executive looking to take a step up to support them with their UK PR functions.

 

The PR Executive will help to drive the development of PR strategies for their core sectors and practice teams, taking direct ownership of the strategic PR plans working with the relevant leaders PR Management to ensure approaches and tactics are agreed and delivered successfully. The firm work the hours 9:30am to 5:30pm, they offer agile working of 3 days in the office and 2 from home and will look to offer a salary of circa 45k for this position.

The PR Executive’s duties will include:

 

  • Track daily media coverage of firm, practices, and lawyers
  • Compile news clip reports and disseminate to relevant parties
  • Draft and post content for the news section of the firm’s website
  • Track press office activities
  • Build and maintain editorial and awards calendars
  • Assist with the drafting of press releases and source advisories
  • Assist with the placement of comment opportunities and attorney-written articles as by-lined commentary in publications
  • Assist with the drafting of awards submission for individual, practice-specific, and firm accolades
  • Assist in the completion of survey submissions
  • Assist with content generation and posting to firm social media accounts including LinkedIn and Twitter
  • Monitor social media including LinkedIn and Twitter coverage
  • Research media outlets/reporters following key issues of interest
  • Perform outreach and follow-up to lawyers, interacting with them in a professional and productive manner

 

Candidates will be degree educated, preferably in English, Journalism or Marketing and have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a PR / Comms focused role, preferably working in the legal industry. You will have first class written and proof-reading skills, able to write professionally and with excellent attention to detail. Strong time-management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise multiple assignments is essential whilst being able to work under pressure.
