Our client is a prestigious London law firm – they are now looking to recruit a Property Administrator to join their busy and expanding Rural and Residential Property team in London.

This role is for a proactive and competent Property Administrator who will operate successfully in a pressurised and fast paced environment, working with the residential property team to undertake a wide range of property administration.

This role will assist with all property related administration work (transactional and pre and post completion matters) to fee earners, paralegals, EAs/legal secretaries.

The standard hours are 9.30am to 5.30pm. The salary on offer is £27,000 + Benefits. This role is a permanent position. You will be working in their office for 3 days a week, 2 from home (flexibility required).

Your responsibilities as a Property Administrator:

• Manage the scanning of ingoing and outgoing post
• Prepare SDLT forms and draft insurance policies
• Submit certificates of titles, registrations and priority searches, diarise expiry dates and resubmit
• Create bank files
• Upload / download documents to Land Registry and sales packs from extranet sites
• Prepare and scan engrossments from mail merge and spreadsheets
• Assist Legal Secretaries with serving notices by scanning
• Prepare standard payment request emails and letters to clients
• Update tenancy, development and completions spreadsheets
• Send letters to Bank with updated official copy entries on completion of registration
• Assist Legal Secretarial team with finalising files and passing to Central Admin for storage

Requirements as a Property Administrator:

• Experience of working in a property / residential property department is essential
• Ideally previous Administrative / Team Assistant experience gained from a Law firm
• Excellent knowledge of Land Registry portal
• Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent, including Maths and English
• Competent on all MS Office packages
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to pick up new systems and procedures quickly
