A top UK Law Firm is looking to hire a new Legal PA to join the Residential & Commercial Property team on a permanent basis, focusing on cases involving high net-worth individuals.  The role will involve working with one other PA, supporting a mix of Partners and Associates.  The role will pay £42,000 plus will offer fantastic benefits and the team work 3 days in the office, 2 from home.

 

Responsibilities for the Real Estate PA will include reporting to the Resources Manager and proactively working as part of the PA Team to support an allocated number of Partners and lawyers in the Property department, ensuring consistencies in support levels are delivered and that policies and procedures are adhered to, liaising with the Document Services Operators (DSOs) to co-ordinate the production and amendment of documents and transcription of dictations, managing Partners’ and lawyers’ diaries and arrange appointments (both internal and external), using judgement when scheduling meetings – determine purpose and minimum time required, managing administration of meetings, including collation of documentation required, arranging conference calls, meetings, lunches and dinners on behalf of the Partners and lawyers as required, using judgement to manage workload issues; take ownership of enquiries and ensure other issues are referred/delegated to the appropriate person and dealt with in a timely fashion, maintaining up-to-date contact details for clients and all other contacts using Interaction, preparing and submit expenses when required. Other duties will include liaising with Fee Earners and the Compliance Department, taking ownership with regards to the onboarding of new clients and matters, ensuring that OFR and MLR regulations are complied with. Subsequently preparing draft retainer letters in line with firm and department precedents and conducting online property searches and producing reports in respect of both residential and commercial conveyancing.

The suitable Real Estate PA must have prior experience within a commercial or residential property team, strong technical skills and excellent written, organisation and communication skills. A salary of £42,000 is on offer plus fantastic benefits.
