Receptionist – US Law Firm – Fantastic Salary & Benefits

A prestigious US law Firm is looking to hire a new Receptionist on a permanent basis to work 12pm – 8pm – the firm is housed in stunning offices and the team is growing rapidly, which makes this an exciting time to join.  A salary of up to £34,000 is on offer plus fantastic benefits.

 

Responsibilities for the new Receptionist will include:

 

  • Professionally greeting and announcing clients and visitors to the London office and ensuring that each visitor has a VIP welcome
  • Ensuring that all clients and visitors are efficiently and pleasantly issued a security pass at their arrival
  • Seeking out ways to ensure that visitors needs are anticipated and met.  Assist the wider team with ways to improve the client experience and satisfaction
  • Storing coats and luggage
  • Promptly answer incoming telephone calls. Transferring calls, dealing with general enquiries, message taking and ensuring that the caller has been if they would like to leave a voicemail message, should they not be able to connect to the person who they are trying to reach
  • Managing meeting room bookings in CABS, arrangements for client and internal meetings, training sessions, events, seminars, depositions etc
  • Organising facilities for meetings, liaising with Catering, IT, Facilities, Professional Development and Business Development etc
  • Check meeting rooms have been set up as booked and that sufficient stationery is available
  • Making arrangements for weekend and out of hours meetings, including air conditioning, catering,  cleaning, secretarial cover and IT assistance
  • Having the ability to carry out basic IT and AV set ups as required by clients
  • Monitoring the status of the meeting rooms throughout the day. Clearing, tidying rooms and updating CABS
  • Ensuring general maintenance of the reception area, meeting rooms and client facilities, reporting any damaged or missing items, so that they may be repaired or replaced

The successful Receptionist would ideally have previous front-of-house experience, or the passion and interest to work within a team offering a 5* service – strong written, oral and communication skills is key. Standard hours are 12pm – 8pm and a salary of up to £34,000 is on offer plus excellent benefits.
