One of our prestigious US Law firm clients is looking for a new Recruitment Specialist to join there London office on a permanent basis. This role will report directly into the Senior Recruitment Manager and will work in a close, collaborative team. This role will support other offices in the EMEA region when required and will manage and assist with the full 360 recruitment process. This will involve working on fee earner, business services roles and will assist in the hiring of graduate roles.

 

  • Acting as an ambassador for the recruitment team at all times this extends to interaction with agencies, candidates and other stakeholders.
  • Creating job specifications, offer letters and other correspondence under the direction of the senior manager.
  • Creating reports that highlight effectiveness of retention and attraction strategies and also monitor effectiveness of D&I strategies in the recruitment process.
  • Promote diversity principles and good practice, providing advice on current initiatives and supporting new diversity initiatives and projects. Working alongside the Senior Recruitment Manager the Diversity and Inclusion Manager.
  • Work with the London and US HR teams to ensure a joined-up approach to ensure that a seamless service is provided to the business.
  • With the input of external immigration advisers, to co-ordinate visa applications for all hires when needed.
  • Able to keep up to date with changing law and requirements e.g. IR35, GDPR and changes to the legal qualification processes.
  • Assist with onboarding programme.

 

Candidates will need to have a minimum of 6 years working withing a similar role in a legal environment or similar professional services environment. Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to form strong relationships and be approachable and professional at all times especially when dealing with candidates and people outside of the firm. Experience with general computer programme and recruiting software/ database is essential. The standard hours for this role are 9:30am – 5:30pm.
